A Way to Help Haiti

Dear Friends,

This morning our caseworker called to find out if we would be open to fostering orphan refugees from Haiti. We also received an email regarding this from Project 1.27. From the little we know, it sounds like Governor Ritter has to decide whether to take these children into the Colorado Foster Care System. If he does that, they will be placed in foster homes (such as ours) with adoption as a strong possibility. This is also happening in other states. If you are a home studied family please inquire at your agency about this.
We said that we are open for up to three children Katrina's age and younger. We have been praying for Haiti and wishing we could do something to help. Perhaps this is God's answer.
