You have diligently prayed for us over the past 23 months as we have sought to adopt children out of the foster care system. God in His mercy has seen fit not to place children in our care. Adoption is a good and clearly biblical desire, but obviously this has not been His will for our family. We do not regret pursuing adoption, actually we are GLAD we did. However, at this point we are not going to renew our license and have spoken with our agency not to look further for children on our behalf.
What an exciting time in your lives as you see God clearly close one door and yet open another. We'll look forward to hearing the details at an appropriate time and rejoice with you even now.
