Last week we heard once again that we were not chosen as the adoptive family for the last sibling group we were interested in. But we are determined not to be pessimistic....after all, God is sovereign and works all things for good for those who trust Him. What an awesome promise!
As of yesterday we know of two little boys, 4 and 3 years old, who need a home, and it sounds like they might need it next Tuesday. However, they are legal risk. That means parental rights have not yet been terminated and they are still having visitations with birth parent(s) on a regular basis. Up to now we were really not open to that, because there is always the chance that you will have to "return" them. We weren't willing to go through that heartbreak. However, we are beginning to feel God might want us to do that.
Here we are wanting to invest into a childs life and to show him/her the love of Christ, and there they are needing love and care and we are saying no because it might hurt us!
We need wisdom in deciding if this is what God really desires of us right now...And if it is, we'll need a lot of energy to change our bedroom setup around by Tuesday! :)

Thanks for the update! Always exciting to hear, but know it's difficult to wait for the unfolding of God's plan. However, isn't it good that we are called to praise Him in all our situations? I don't know about you, but we're often focusing on our expected results and forget to worship Him all along the way.
