Daddy has a great reading voice. Many friends have told him he missed his career and should have gone into voice acting.
We kept saying that someday he should narrate a book, but nothing came of it until a friend of ours asked him to read a book they had republished. It is called The Hartz Boys and was written (originally in German) by Franz Hoffmann. The main theme of the book is "As You Sow, so Must You Reap". It follows the lives of three boys as they grow up and make decisions.
Daddy started taking steps last year to begin recording by taking some classes/voice coaching, buying the right soft ware, etc. He just didn't have the time to really work on it since he had a full time job.
And then, providentialy, Daddy became unemployed three weeks ago. !!! Don't say you are sorry, because we aren't. :) We are very excited to see what God will accomplish through this as we trust Him. Daddy is working hard on getting the book recorded. At the same time, we do like to eat...so we hope that the odd jobs will be frequent enough.
We'll let you know when The Hartz Boys is available. The hard copy is also going through editing.
